Pensacola, Florida

Our first stay is in the Gulf Coast city of Pensacola, Florida.

Ruth is in luck! A free sub on her birthday!!!

Pensacola is home to the Naval Air Station.
This base employs 16,000 military personnel plus 7400 civilian workers.
It consists of the Naval Air Schools, Naval Air Technical Training, Marine Aviation Training Support Group 21, and the famous Blue Angels Navy Flight Demo Squadron.

Another "must see" adventure is the Naval Air Museum.

As we head down I-10 towards a night in Beaumont, Texas, we stop in New Orleans for a quick look around.

The streets of the French Quarter are an exciting mix of Spanish, French, and Black history.

From the levee you can view the largest cathedral in New Orleans.

The market offers a large variety Cajun food.

Lots of HOT! HOT!! HOT!!! Too

This looks like a good choice.

There it is! A great local sandwich - the Muffuletta!!!

After a great day in the Big Easy, we head West towards the great state of Texas - Austin here we come!
